It's really sad when you see adults that throw their elderly parents into retirement homes because they don't want to take care of them after they've been taken care of since they were born! Parents (although extremely irritating at times!) should be appreciated ;)

Yeah completely agree. I never want to be in a position where my mum goes into a home or anything

so is anyone watching The T.O. Show? it's "tv" related but also related to this topic..So his grandma was diagnosed with alzheimers in '96. and she hasn't spoken in ages. He goes to see her and he's talking to her telling her that she shaped him into the man he is today..that all her advice made an impact on him..he's bawling his eyes out..I'm bawling my eyes out..it was sooo sad
