Best Jpop/Rock vocalists?

Could someone list me the top 5 best vocalists in Jpop/rock, because the best vocalist I've come across is Utada (although I haven't done much research :lol: ), I enjoy listening to her voice but Ayumi I don't like her voice at all! :?

Well, the following Jpop artists are my favourite vocalists (I'll exclude Ayumi because you don't like her voice, even though I appreciate it ;) )

1) Utada Hikaru (a truly amazing vocalist)
2) Hibari Misora (a legendary female Enka/Jazz artist who was an icon during the 50's-80's, she died in 1989)
3) Izumi Sakai from the band "Zard" (she is considered a massive icon of the 90's and is recognized for her beautiful voice, died in 2007 aged 40)
4) Kazutoshi Sakurai (lead singer of the best-selling band "Mr. Children")
5) Koshi Inaba (the lead singer from the staggeringly successful duo "B'Z")

I have to say Koda Kumi's vocals are amazing. The power, emotion and timbre she puts into her live ballads are just simply stunning.

Yeah, I have to agree that Koda has an amazing voice. She's very talented generally. Nevertheless, I can't put her in my top 5 of best Jpop vocalists. I think she's at #6 though - together with Ayumi, both of them surpassing Namie Amuro by one spot. ;)

Sorry for the VERY late feedback, the only one I've got around to listening to is B'Z! :D Well I've heard the song 'National Holiday' I really like it! :shock: they have a similar combined sound of Green Day/The Feeling, very upbeat tune and it sounds like a fun version of Green Day's 'Holiday'! I will check the rest out too, and Koda sounds interesting and I've also alot about this BONNIE PINK! mmmmm..... I'll have a listen! 8-)
