Hey Friends of VESC,

I would like to ask your opinion on a few of my choices for this months entry.
I have a few songs that I love and I'm struggling to make up my mind,
so I've decided to ask your opinions and see what genre of song y'all would like to see me send!?
I don't want to reveal my songs here, as I want it to remain a mystery and create suspense for when you hear my song for the first time on the show! ^^

So, without further ado...here are the options you can select from. You may just choose one or two that you like the most...or you can rank them from top to bottom~



A) a Fast-Tempo, Blue-sy Jazz, "New York, New York" type of Feel~
B) a Slow, heart-breaking, melodic Rock-Ballad~
C) an Haunting Ballad, with a simple piano melody and scottish bagpipe intro~~
D) a very unique gypsy sounding track :D (Don't know how else to describe it~)
E) an uplifting, happy, romantic love rock song!! ^^



Your input will help me a lot in determining my choice, and will be very greatly appreciated!! Thanks~~

For me personally, I definitely don't want to hear option A! :P

Most intriguing for me would be C [because I LOVE bagpipes and piano music] or D [out of curiosity].

However, I'm sure that whatever you select will be good :) Here's hoping you make a great debut!

Are you not a fan of Jazz/Blues Music??
What about Bossa Nova?
I have this really Beautiful song, which I've sent in another contest....and surprisingly it did very well~~
But this one is a more modernised version...it's a very fun and entertaining Jazz Song,
it's not like one of those classic slow and mellow songs!! ^^
You still not interested?? XDD
Anyways, it looks like C, E and D are now in the lead.....
I'll give it a couple of more hours before I make my final decision~ ^^
So, guys there's still time to share your opinion!

As for the Gypsy track....it's a pretty slow and mesmerising song!
It has a hypnotic melody with piano, flute and amazing orchestra of string and percussion instruments in the background~
How does that sound now?? ^___^
I think I'm even starting to persuade myself with what I just wrote!! LOL

Oh its not because I don't enjoy them, its just that fast songs are sent quite often, and it'd be nice to hear something different :P

ALTHOUGH, I am intrigued a lot by the Bossa Nova reference!

I can assure you that this fast-tempo song is totally different to those pop-dance tracks we have out there!!
I don't think you'll ever get to hear this type of music unless you are truly a fan!!
But I totally understand what you mean.....too many fast songs does get really annoying,
and to hear something different will just be a breath of fresh air!! XDD

The Bossa Nova reference was actually the song I sent for another contest, and it did really well to my surprise!!
I thought people wouldn't like it because usually the popular dance or rock songs always gets the points~~
I mentioned it because I would categorise Jazz/Blues/Bossa Nova together as a genre that doesn't really appeal to the younger teen generation....so I thought if you didn't like Jazz music, you probably don't like Bossa Nova either~
I guess I was wrong!!! ^_^
and I'm glad to hear that....cos I absolutely adore Bossa Nova!!!
I would love to send one here as well, but for now I really wanna experiment with other different genres too~
