2. We had a teacher at school who used to say "it isn't the winning that counts, it's the taking part" meaning it was more important to take part in something than it was to win. I always say "second place is first loser".
3. Thanks for explaining - I get it now. Sometimes it takes me a while, must be my age.
4. Yes I may have threatened HeatSeeker and Wayne with naughty steps and being locked in cupboards but sometimes threats are the only things that work with those boys. They like it really.

I have probably heard Cheers and most of the songs on the list because we have Galaxy (now Capital Radio but that doesn't have the same ring to it) Friday at work for office girl who's only 18 but I have no idea what the songs are called.
