I watched Caroline the second times yesterday,I admire the film mostly because it is good to look at. Selick is as unconventional in his imagery as Gaiman is in his writing, and this is a movie for people who know and care about drawing, caricature, grotesquerie and the far shores of storytelling. In short, you might care little about a fantasy, little indeed about this story, and still admire the artistry of it all, including an insidious score by Bruno Coulais, which doesn't pound at us like many horror scores, but gets under our psychic fingernails.

The Secret in Their Eyes, a critically-acclaimed, Oscar-winning thriller...it was very good, but I felt like it wasn't up to par with what the critics said +tehe3+ It had a great story with excellent actors, but it wasn't really as moving/touching as I was expecting it to be.

Agreed. :D

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 - Utterly astounding. When I criticise this I'm being as picky as I can and with those criticisms I'd call this film near perfection. They could not have done better in terms of bringing such an amazing book onto screen and I am simply delighted with the work the people behind this film have done.

As good as any film can get.

10/10

X-Men: First Class

I loved this and didn't expect to at all. No Sir Patrick Stewart or Sir Ian McKellen, to be honest I was expecting a pile of shite. But it was very good. I liked how Hank became big blue hairy-faced Hank, the backstories of Mystique, Professor X and Magneto. I also liked the nod to Wolverine in there. James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender play their parts very well. Kevin Bacon not so much.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2

Absolutely loved watching it in French where they changed Snape to Rogue and Draco to Drago :P

I don't even like Harry Potter and I loved it. I gave up at the fourth book but this has made me want to start reading them from the beginning...

2012. Hated that they didn't do any real sceintific explanation of what was happening, it would have seem more realistic, but it was entertaining throughout.

Attack the Block. I expected to hate this film and didn't have any intention of watching it. It's a British-made film about hoodies who live in a tower block. There are aliens in it too. I have to say it was bloody brilliant, really enjoyed it! The acting was fantastic as were the special effects and the storyline ran smoothly throughout. No blood, guts and gore - all violent parts are implied rather than shown.

Watched "13 Going on 30" last night, just for fun. Meh, it was alright, nothing special. Quite enjoyable overall though. It's basically about a 13-year-old girl who wishes to be older and she wakes up 30 and has to live her "new" life.

Yesterday night I have seen Green Lantern movie. In this movie a test pilot is granted a mystical green ring that bestows him with otherworldly powers, as well as membership into an intergalactic squadron tasked with keeping peace within the universe.

I watched harry potter part 7 last night. I really admired the brilliant performance of “Daniel Radcliffe” I found this film worth seeing and may see it again. It is over all an excellent movie. The climactic battle was awesome. The actors have all grown with their character.

Last night I watched Twilight: Breaking Dawn. It was quite enjoyable and, in my opinion, the best of the Twilight films up to now. Although there was still plenty of overdramatics and sourpuss looks from Kristen Stewart.
