The PM system at Vanity Edge is a privilege and not a right. We do not have to allow users to use this feature. If you abuse the PM system in any way you will be punished. We have had a lot of abuse over the last few months.
You will be PM restricted for (and not limited too) the follow reasons:
Spam - Sending pointless PM's to users in order to be annoying or to promote a website or product. Sending PM's to users asking them to be staff is also not allowed unless that user has asked for you to PM them or they have shown interest in a job on your forum.
Language - Being abusive to other users via the PM system is not allowed. Treat people how you want to be treated.
If you break the rules you will be PM restricted. The time you will be PM restricted will vary depending on the offence and you behaviour on the forum in general. PM restrictions are not permanent in most cases. In some are cases where there has been a high level of abuse then a forum ban might be issued.
