Mine was a CD single of "Roll With It" by Steve Winwood, which was the first song to reach number 1 with that configuration available. I didn't even have a CD player then, as they were super expensive in Central America, where I was living. I went to a tall building downtown San José and I dropped the CD in the elevator and it went through a crack in the floor.
Years later, when I did have a CD player, I bought "The Immaculate Collection" by Madonna. That was my first CD.

Hilary Duff's Metamorphosis. She was my favorite singer until I met Mariah
Kravgi - Anna Vissi (during a summer in Greece)
First English Album: Music - Madonna or All For You - Janet.
I wasn't that interested in them back then. It was the radio's fault they played them all the time. Afterwards I remember buying albums such as let Go by Avril, albums by Evanescence, American Idiot by Green Day, System of a Down even the Scorpions and in general many rock and Alternative albums. When Confessions on A Dancefloor was released I suddenly shifted from Rock to Pop, R&B and Electronica. That album had a great impact on my musical interests.
