Since its 80's explosion, the compact disc (CD) has taken many forms in terms of its packaging; ranging from the traditional jewel casing, to sleeves, to digipaks and beyond - what is your preferred condition?

I opted for jewel-casing; I've never forgiven digipaks since the day I ripped my Celine Dion - Taking Chances album.

Jewel-case please :P
My favourite is the 'new' version of the jewel case, where you have to push the button in the middle for it to open, and the corners are slightly rounded.

I love the sturdy digipaks. I'm so tired of jewel cases coz they look cheap. If you're planning to release an album or anything on CD, these guys are the digipak experts: http://www.unifiedmanufacturing.com/. They have the cheapest rate for CD duplication in LA and their digipaks are sturdy. the downside is that they take a few days longer to deliver. But really affordable.

Digipaks are my favourite nowadays, as long as they're not too wide to fit in my CD racks!
