Every now and then, a film captures me. I believe the last film to truly captivate me was the Day After Tomorrow which was released over two years ago (various DVD's have captivated me too). The Young Victoria is a gorgeous piece of cinematography - Emily Blunt is near flawless in her role as Queen, and from the reviews I've since read, the accuracy of most of the film is good.

I give my highest recommendation for you to watch this - truly brilliant. Involved in its production is legendary film director Martin Scorsese

Haven't seen this, and if I'm honest, films like this don't always interest me.

That said, I've heard only great things about this album and Emily Blunt is an extraordinary actress, so I would watch this one.

I honestly can't stress enough :P Don't be put off by the fact that it deals with English history - it goes much deeper than that. As Simon says, Emily is incredible!
