X Factor finalists to release Bowie cover
The contestants of this year’s X Factor are set to release a cover David Bowie’s ‘Heroes’ as a charity single.
The Sun reports that all 16 finalists will feature on the track, which will help raise money for the armed forces charity ‘Help For Heroes’.
Past X Factor charity singles have raised millions for a range of projects including the Help for Heroes Rehabilitation Complex at Headley Court.
‘Heroes’ will be released on November 7, 2010. The original song was written by David Bowie and Brian Eno. It is about two lovers meeting up in the shadow of the Berlin Wall.
