i love her new album. halo is an amazing song, as is if i were a boy.
as for old songs, i love the song she did for dream girls ( to the left to the left) and naughty girl.
hey, does everyone prefer her on her own or with destiniy's child
Sweet Dreams is one of her best songs. It's just so catchy and addictive 8-)

fully agreed.
That song just threw beyonce into another realm whenver i listened to it.A realm where i can sit through her screeching in my ears.
OTHERWISE, ???
she's a joke..Her albums are FILLED with fillers and it really irks me that people call HER legendary when even britney is not even fully there yet.

Sweet Dreams is probably one of her best songs. I really like IASF but DIL was packed with filler.

hmmm, interesting. no where in this thread did anyone call her a legend, and no, she's not a legend, either so quite right too.
as for the chart, christina should be at top... she's on her way

I prefer Destiny's Child. The Writing's On The Wall is one of my fav albums.
I Am Sasha Fierce is her worst album, imo. It's not up to par with the classic that is B'Day and Dangerously In Love.

Her albums are NOT filled with fillers. But that's just an opinion...
She has a beautiful, powerful voice! And I prefer her over Destiny's Child.
She's my fave artist definitely.
B'Day > I Am... Sasha Fierce > Dangerously In Love

I certainly agree that IASF didn't have much filler - a fab album. Really turned me into a fan of Beyonce. Ave Maria is such a beautiful composition, that I could easily listen to it repeatedly.

I completely agree! Her and Mariah's ballads are among the only ones I can listen to. I tend not to listen to ballads quite often cause they sadden me... :(

Beyonce is a brilliant vocalist. Her music is good too. I hated DIL because the first half of the album was great and the second half was almost all filler. B'Day, however, is her best album. All killer no filler. I'm still on the fence for IASF. I'm just not a fan of double-discs, especially when there aren't many songs.
I also think she's the best performer of her generation. She dances well, sings brilliantly, and has this euphoric stage presence. Definitely a legend in the making. She's already an icon of the 2000s.

I think IASF is far superior to B'Day, everything about it. It goes without saying that it's superior to DIL.
I think she is one of very few artists that makes a massive impact with their first album then goes on to better it and grow with each effort.

Best International Act and Best Video for Single Ladies!
I love her but she's everywhere atm. She's starting to get a little overrated

"Although details are still scarce about just what Beyoncé and Lady Gaga will be doing to in the clip for B's song "Video Phone," Gaga did talk about the clip in a new interview.
"When I was doing her video with her, she called me and she said, 'What do you want to do?' " Gaga explained in an interview with New York's Z100 radio station on Tuesday morning (October 27). "And I'm like, 'I don't want to show up in some frickin' hair bow and be fashion Gaga in your video.' I said, 'I want to do you.' "
In a photo that emerged from the video shoot, Gaga was seen wearing a white strapless leotard with matching opera gloves, and her long hair is loose and flowing — the look is definitely more Beyoncé than Gaga. In fact, Gaga even scored a new nickname while on set. "I want to do my version of Beyoncé," she said. "So the whole time I was learning the choreography they were calling me Gee-yoncé."
As if fans weren't psyched enough about the video, Gaga did say that she and Beyoncé are working on music together. No additional details were given, however.
"We did collaborate recently," she said, referencing the "Video Phone" video, adding, "And we are collaborating on my album, as well." It was unclear whether Gaga was referring to the forthcoming expanded edition of her debut LP, The Fame: Monster, or her still-in-the-works second album."

Beyonce Knowles narrowly escaped serious injury after her car door was ripped off by a taxi in London.
The 'Halo' singer opened the door of her Mercedes after deciding to pop into top store Harrods en route to a restaurant in the UK capital's Knightsbrige area.
Shoppers looked on in horror as the taxi collided with the car's door, ripping it off its hinges and missing Beyonce by just a matter of centimetres.
The pop star ' who was travelling with her hip-hop guru husband Jay-Z - looked visibly shaken after the incident.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "It was terrifying to watch. It all happened so quickly, the taxi came out of nowhere.
"She seemed very shaken and was lucky to be alive. A couple of seconds difference and God knows what could have happened."
Beyonce, 28, and Jay-Z, 40, were on their way to a romantic meal at Japanese eatery Zuma when the singer decided to make her impromptu stop.
After the accident, the couple were forced to dump the damaged car ' and were sent a replacement to take them to the restaurant.
She was later seen looking happy and relaxed after leaving Zuma with Jay-Z.

IRISH rockers The Script will be delivering a baby alongside their new album, mirroring the scene which surrounded the release of their No 1 debut.
The trio will be dropping Science & Faith in September when guitarist Mark Sheehan’s second child is due.
Two years ago, Mark, 30, was forced to dash from the swanky launch party for their self-titled debut disc at a church in their home city Dublin when his first nipper – a boy – came into the world. Now he’s adding to his brood with a girl due.
Mark said: “It’s becoming our lucky omen. So maybe expect a baby every album release date.”
As the lads – Mark, singer Danny O’Donoghue and drummer Glen Power, 31 – welcome new life into the world they’re also looking at ways to mark the passing of loved ones.
Danny, 29, revealed: “We are thinking of putting a woman and man’s hand together on the front of the album sleeve.
“I’d love to remember my dad who passed away before we had success and Mark’s mum too. So we were thinking of putting both of their faces inside the hands.”
Since making their mark on the charts with huge single The Man Who Can’t Be Moved, The Script have been busy conquering America.
Their first Stateside single Breakeven sold more than a million copies after the lads performed it on an episode of The Hills.
And their songwriting has impressed in lots of important circles.
A source added: “A track that the band wrote for their new album was picked up and circled internally through the record company until eventually it crossed the ears of Beyoncé.
“She is very interested in recording it for her next album.
“If she does, and it’s halfway as huge as any of her other songs, The Script are in for a bumper pay day.”
That’ll sort out the nappy bills then.

her ability to change the colour of her skin in every photoshoot amazes me LOL :bravo:

Have any of you seen (is that correct? lol) her last DVD? It was good but still disappointing for me compared to her previous "live" DVD, it was too edited IMO.
^ I have the latest one on blu-ray. Not watched it yet, but I will do soon xD

She was great at Glastonbury; but I turned off after about 20-25 minutes. I can't bear to watch a full set for some reason, there's a certain stench of pretention around here IMO.
Anyway, was glad that she did End Of Time <3
