BJÖRK

BjÖrk is a pretty new discovery for me, I'm doubting there are going to be many fans on here  , but I thought I'd introduce her and some of her best tunes!

I describe her as an 'Insane Cyclone' because she is as mad as a hatter and her music is too, well some of it!

She is probably one of the top 5 most versatile artists out there, smashing genres to bits with her style, she can do dance, pop, rock..... she has a very refreshing perspective through her music, it is all very insightful and she has many great ideas for songs, and some of her thoughts in her songs are magic.

Her voice is very expressive and she sends shivers down my spine with her acoustic sounding tracks and her voice can reach wonderful heights. Seriously her albums are like journeys and you will float to the clouds and beyond with her amazing soundscapes, expression and lyrical wonder!

My Top 10 BjÖrk songs:

Enjoy
There's More To Life Than This
Isobel
Venus As Boy
It's Oh So Quiet
Where Is The Line?
Violently Happy
One Day
Play Dead
Army of Me

....She has so many wonderous tunes....

Anyone like her or even heard of her?

Also try out these two albums from her first:

Post & Debut

Yeah I know Bjork and Kylie are on completely different sides of the music spectrum! lol

I just love how Bjork puts everything in! I like most of her albums, though her latest ones are a bit hit or miss! Her live shows and music videos are always amazing though!!

Yes, I love Björk and have for years. "It's Not Up To You" is another beautiful tune. And "Hunter" and "5 Years" really get me going when I listen to them on my iPod. Yes, she is quite versatile. Her first album was the poppiest she's done. Since then she has done "Icelandic techno" with crunching beats and lush strings, an album made almost completely of vocals and pretty songs to her children :)
