I think that this list is a bit of a joke. The Beatles @ # 8? Behind Oprah Winfrey?! I also don't think that Muhammad Ali belongs in the top 10 to be quite honest. Urgh!

Yes you might be right. I always questioned the inclusion of Paul Newman, who isn't particular influential outside of the USA. If this is limited to the USA, you have to ask yourself why the hell Aretha Franklin isn't included? Or even the likes of Whitney Houston? And it says 'Pop Culture Icons' - many politicans have transcended their political jobs and impacted pop culture in an unfathomable fashion, so maybe there should be some politicans in here.

Anyway, US or not, I think the ordering of the list is messed up and so is the inclusion of about 3 or so stars! :P
