"Waka Waka (This Time For Africa)" by Colombian singer Shakira featuring Freshlyground, is the official theme song for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Shakira also recorded a Spanish version of the song, called "Waka Waka (Esto Es Africa)".

It was released digitally in May, reaching #1 in Spain and Italy, but has recently began to impact more markets as the World Cup officially kicked off on Friday, June 11th.
