Robbie's Back!
5 Aug 2009
We're very excited to announce that Robbie Williams will be releasing his much-anticipated new album, Reality Killed The Video Star, on November 9th, 2009.
However, ahead of that, the first single to be released will be Bodies, on October 12th, with the digital version available one day earlier on the 11th.
As you'll know from Robbie's blogs, he has been busy working on the new material with Trevor Horn, who has produced both the album and the single.
The video clip on the homepage, also featured below, is exclusive to RobbieWilliams.com and takes us behind-the-scenes of Robbie's first day back at work..!
The Video clip can be viewed on his official site and includes music from the new album in the background! :D I literally cant wait, hopefully this will be better than the mess he released last time round! lol

just heard "Bodies" on the radio, not a fan. Obscure lyrics, disjointed melody..... hmmmm maybe it will be a grower but after one listen..... it's a no from me

Completely agree about the melody. Its very odd. But there is something great in knowing that he's back, since he always releases something I like! :P Some of these track titles look a bit questionable though

lol Well with the way sales are nowadays this could well be his least selling studio album yet stil be seen as a success.

I'm very disappointed with his new single... nothing really memorable about it. I hope his follow-up singles will be better.

I think if it is a success will easily surpass Rudebo sales (400k?). In the UK, thank God, albums still recive 2-3-4x platinums certifications.

I think he got a bit arrogant on Rudebox. Thinking he could release anything and it would sell. He already admitted that previous to that "Rock DJ" was a joke and the public fell for it........ didn't work as well with Rudebox though.
I hope he has put more thought into this offering

'Rudebox' was plain awful. I hope there are better tracks on the new album - if not, it's not only Robbie I feel sorry for but also Trevor Horn.

official music week figures for rudebox are over 550.000 copies sold.
isn't it also certified 2x platinum?
-still impressive that thats his worst sales result as a solo artist in the UK.. its also interesting that rudebox is certified for having shipped 600.000 copies in Germany..
Germany and the Uk are his biggest markets.
BTW saw the BODIES Video and I really like it.. best part is when he sings on the plane.. thats really cool.
