We are very pleased to announce that Cheryl is to release her first ever book. Titled 'My World', the book will feature a special selection of intimate and insightful photographs covering Cheryl's life up to now!

The book will be released in lavishly illustrated hardback format on September 30th.

Cheryl herself had this to say about the project...

"I think looking at pictures is a bit like listening to music - it reminds you of what was happening and how you were feeling at certain times in your life.

"Sometimes I look at old pictures and I can't believe that was me. I think we all do that. I went through a phase of being a bit tomboyish when I loved trainers and Timberland boots and baggy trousers. I had pink streaks in my hair at one point but I was experimenting and at the time I liked it.

"I can look at photos and straight away they'll bring back loads of memories. That's really why I wanted to do this book, so I could choose pictures that mean something to me and tell the stories that go with them."

According to the Daily Mail, Cheryl Cole is signing on with Simon Cowell to judge the US version of X Factor! She also wants to launch a music career in the US lol.

Simon Cowell has reportedly warned Cheryl Cole that she needs to crack the US music charts if she wants a role on US version of The X Factor.

The singer has frequently been linked to a position on the American version of the show since it was announced. However, Now magazine claims that Cowell advised Cole to sign an alleged (http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/news/a286144/cheryl-cole-lands-gbp6m-us-record-deal.html) £6million contract with Universal.

"Simon told her it was imperative that she breaks the US with her music before she has any shot of doing TV because she is so unknown there," a source said. "He is trying to sort out a job for her on the panel, but he knows he won't be listened to unless she can make a name for herself over there.

"Being told she had a slim-to-zero chance (http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/ustv/s141/the-x-factor-us/news/a286801/cowell-wont-bring-cole-to-us-x-factor.html) of getting the US X Factor job was a kick in the teeth, so the record contract was quickly a done deal."

The magazine claims that Cole could hold an advisory role on the show - similar to that held by Sinitta to Cowell on the UK version - after bosses were left unimpressed by her recent decision to abstain from voting between two of her acts.

An insider commented: "It's dog eat dog in America. We can't have anyone weak on the panel."

The 'Promise This' (http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/singlesreviews/a283627/cheryl-cole-promise-this.html) star has apparently been warned to expect a busy schedule while promoting her album Messy Little Raindrops in the US.

"She will be touring the country for six months and basically living in and out of hotel rooms, which is going to be lonely," the source said. "She knows how tough it is to break the US market. She's petrified but knows this is the right decision.”

They added: "She has been so miserable in recent months, this seems like a good option. It could be the fresh start she needs."

Good ol' Simon! I'd prefer Mimi as a judge though.
