Beyonce is adding another show in China.


Beyonce confirmed but China Cancels Other Foreign Acts

As China celebrated the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic Thursday morning (Oct. 1), one of the country's top independent labels announced the cancellation of all foreign acts at its upcoming music festival.

The Modern Sky Festival was to feature acts including the Buzzcocks, British Sea Power, Shonen Knife and Swedish punk outfit International Noise Conspiracy.

However, two weeks after the Modern Sky Festival, Beyonce will be able to bring her "I Am...Sasha Fierce" tour to the Chinese capital for a single show on Oct. 23. Ticket prices for the concert at Wukesong Gymnasium in western Beijing range from $45 to $260.

There is more than that but this is the stuff that is relevant to Beyonce.

Fierce Beyonce Tour Surpasses $50 Million Mark

Beyonce's "I Am..." tour is on track to become one of 2009s top grossing tours.

According to Billboard's Boxscore, Beyonce's "I Am..." tour has pulled in over $53.5 million to date !

Making stops, nearly worldwide, the tour launched in March and has continued almost non-stop since then.

Including a four night stint at the Wynn Las Vegas' Encore, Beyonce's "I Am..." tour featured Beyonce's all-female band and peformances of hits including "Single Ladies," "Crazy In Love," "Diva" and "Ego".

A DVD, slated for release in the future, was compiled during the "Sweet Dreams" singer's four night stint at Encore.

In related news, Beyonce received Billboard's Woman of the Year award in New York City today.

The award, which celebrates excellence and achievement was awarded during Billboard's Women in Music brunch.

"Beyoncé is a multiplatinum artist and a multitalented woman who clearly embodies the qualities of excellence and achievement that the Billboard Woman of the Year Award was created to honor," says Billboard editorial director Bill Werde.

"She has not only influenced pop culture with her hit songs and her signature dance moves, but has inspired women everywhere with her unique style, business savvy and dedication to charitable causes."

BEYONCE -In Japan Soon - Tuesday, October 6th 2009

Performing at Japanese Summer Festivals for the first time this year at the Summer Sonic 09 in August, and her movie "Cadelac Record" in theaters on August 15th. The No. 1 diva Beyonce is now coming back to Japan for her tour "I Am..." and is releasing another new CD; Live CD+DVD!

This live CD+DVD is from her August 2 stage in Las Vegas which was SOLD OUT since it was a premium 1,500 only stage from July 30 to August2!

Beyonce who is now only able to be seen in big stages in and out of Japan. This stage is a completely different staging, production which can only be seen here on this DVD!
