Although Wayne and HeatSeeker retain the #1 and #2 positions, respectively, they both post less than they did last week, especially the latter, who has the honor of decreasing the most in posts (-126).

An unexpected surge comes from James as he catapults 11-3 for the biggest jump into the top 3 in the chart's history! He is our greatest post gainer this week, up 99 from last week's count. Close behind is Britneyfan09, who finally edges himself into the top 5 with 145 posts (up 29). With just TWO posts less, Nichu94 dips 4-5 at 143.

The Hot Shot honor is received by AyuM, who after posting just 15 times last week and failing to make the top 15 bows at #6 with 87 posts (up 72). 5 other newbies make their first appearance in the top 15, demonstrating how diverse the forum is becoming.

With Leaf out on vacation, he falls completely off the countdown this week. Bubbling under the chart, in order from most posts to least, are skeeterbyte, PhoenixBloom, Only One Road, wannarock81, and the revolution (who trips 12-20).

For the fourth week in a row, Mega-Poster Wayne retains the top position of Posters of the Week. However, he suffers a substantial dip, registering 98 posts less than last week with 367.

After having the honor of being the hot shot debut last week, AyuM now picks up another achievement by becoming the week's top gainer. He amassed 162 more posts than last week, pulling himself up from #6 to #2.

After a temporary absence from the chart due to vacationing, Leaf reminds us that he is still here and still strong. He re-enters the chart at #3, pushing himself past HeatSeeker for the second week. The latter once again becomes the week's biggest loser in posts, falling 3 spots to #5 and losing 127 posts compared to last week. The only thing he seems to be "seeking" now is to fall off the top 10!

Mattias is the top debut with week at #8 with 55 posts. Also new is PhoenixBloom at #14 (31) and right behind, also taking a bow is Laith with 28 posts.

While HeatSeeker loses the most posts this week, Britneyfan09 refuses to be ignored as he falls the greatest number of positions. After steadily climbing for 3 weeks (#15-#6-#4), he stumbles out of the top 10 to #13 (-9), losing 111 posts compared to last week.

In total, the top 15 posted 1,468 times this week, down from 1,828 last week and 2,022 the week before that.

• 5 for 5. For the fifth week in a row, Wayne clings on to the #1 spot with 475 posts, pushing himself further away from the rest of the competition. While this number is relatively impressive, it doesn't beat his record of 491 posts in a week.

• The return of "Seeker" and the "fan". After dropping the most number of posts last week, HeatSeeker gains the most this week, reclaiming the No. 2 spot for a 3rd week and rising 208 posts. • Vanity Edge sees what is arguably the most hectic posting week in its history. Amidst a period of ex-postwhores resurfacing, the usual top posters strengthening, and previously quiet members making a firm stand, it was truly anyone's game. This is the third week in a row where the top loser for the previous week becomes the top gainer. Gillyberto pulls a The Emancipation of Mimi-scale comeback, rocketing 8 positions and increasing by almost 300 posts.

• Although he had the largest, huge gains are not reserved just for Gilly this week. An unprecedented 8 members amass over 100 posts more than the previous week, with just two members experiencing decreases. The degree of the impressive increase in posting activity is emphasized by the number of posts the top 15 have made this week: 3,449. That's a rise of 1,364 posts!

• If there is anything we can learn from the posting chaos that occurred this week, it's that consistency is important. Gillyberto, Amy, and Britneyfan09 each posted massive amounts this past Saturday. Let's take a look at what the top 7 looked liked then:

Wayne, our beloved site administrator and friend, becomes the first member to post over half a thousand times in a single week.

• While he remains in the summit, AyuM gives him a run for his money. Rising 160 posts from last week, AyuM delivers 446 posts, a personal best, to settle at #2 ahead of HeatSeeker. At the beginning of the week, AyuM was clearly ahead of the latter; however, by mid-week, HeatSeeker had a slight gain on his opponent. • After experiencing the greatest increase in weekly posts, Vanity Edge encounters its most severe decrease in posts to date. A mere 1,260 posts were made this week by the top 15, down a staggering 2,189. Even more astonishing is the fact that every single poster who was on the chart last week suffered negative post count changes, all of them in the double-digits. As a result, even several members with decreasing post counts advanced positions.

• With such fragile circumstances, all it took to enter the chart was an unprecedented 8 posts. Taking advantage of this open door is Crazytowel who, after many weeks off, re-enters the chart at #11. Also jumping back on the list is gimme1mimi at #13 and skeeterbyte31 at #15. Rounding off the top 15 are new entries by Laith and BlackNLatin.

• The top spot's seat gets warmer each week as it continues to house the unfaltering Wayne. HeatSeeker once again falls short of obtaining the penthouse as he settles for #2 for the 4th nonconsecutive week. Let's take a look at his chart run: 3-2-2-5-2-3-2.

• Falling completely off the chart for the first week ever is britneyfan09. Making just 6 posts this week, he is ranked the top bubbling under poster. Gilllyberto crashes the most positions within the top 15, as he descends 5-14.

• Some more tidbits illustrating the post deterioration in comparison to the previous week:
Last week, everyone in the top 5 had over 300 posts. The only person to attain over 300 posts this week is Wayne. In addition, every member in the top 11 last week had over 100 posts; this week, only four members can say that. Only 2 members had decreases last week, while all but 4 suffer decreases this week. Considering these results, this week's biggest loser in posts, Ayum (tumbling 335 posts), shouldn't feel so bad.


With such phenomenally declining statistics, it seems we can only hope to improve. Tune in next week to see if the site has truly fallen off the "edge" or if it will regain its composure and come back even stronger!

• The bipolarity of the site's posting continues to show. Last week, the site experienced the worst drop in total posts it had ever seen. 12 members had negative post count changes, the biggest of which was a staggering 335 drop from AyuM. Vanity Edge's recession seems to be subsiding: All but two members had rises this week and the total posts for the top 15 increased to 1,843 (+583).

• Among those that contributed most to the rise in posts are Leaf, who knocks HeatSeeker down a spot by rising 3-2 and increasing by 114 posts; Wayne, who remains at the summit, gaining 70 posts compared to the previous week; and, after decreasing by almost 100 posts, Neil recovers most of them as he gains 86 posts to come in at #4.

Aw I miss this chart! And I noticed...



...that Neil has had the same avatar for at least a year and a half lol.

I think I should restart this, it might give people an incentive to post more, but it would have to be a top 5 or based on 2 weeks of posting as sadly, activity isn't as high as it used to be in the old days of this chart.

And dayum @ Wayne for NEVER letting go of his #1 spot.

But if I remember correctly, I posted more than Wayne one week. It was early 2010 I think. Maybe it was someone else, but I think it was me, I had the #1 post count one week. Or, I think it may have been based on points actually - I had also made blog entries that week which gave me points too. So I either had the most posts or the most points altogether - Wayne may still have had the most posts, but he may have had less blog entries and therefore less points or something.

And I'm not sure if I remember correctly, but you Diego, had more posts than Wayne one time back in 2009! I think, not 100% sure!

Yep I do remember Wayne saying on his chart, which he a made while after mine ended, that you were the first to post more times than Wayne in a tracked week. It wasn't on Hot 15 Posters, though :tehe:

And I don't think I ever topped a chart? Not on this one at least.
