Ugly Betty CANCELLED!

It's ugly news for all the fans of "Ugly Betty." ABC says Ugly Betty will be canceled after this season.


A critical and popular success with its premiere in fall 2006, "Ugly Betty" has struggled in recent years with audience erosion.

Based on a Colombian telenovela, the warmhearted dramedy stars America Ferrera as an ambitious but style-challenged young woman out to build a future at a New York fashion magazine.

ABC is promising that the series will conclude its run in a fashion that will satisfy its fans. ABC says eight episodes are left before its series finale.

The series has been saluted with Emmy, Golden Globe and Peabody awards, among others.

We all knew it was coming, it was pretty much set in stone when they moved it to Friday's!
Such a shame though, I did think it lost part of it's magic but these last couple of episodes have been really good!

I haven't even watched the end of Season 3 yet but overall the show had a good run. I really thought 'Heroes' would be first to go as its ratings have REALLY plummeted.

I love Ugly Betty but can't say I'm surprised at the news. Series 3 just seemed to be dragging out more and more ridiculous storylines. I've not watched any of season 4 yet but I've got 12 episodes ready to watch in the laptop. Glee caught my attention so I thought I'd save the Fuglys till I'd finished Glee.
