She should embrace the Eurovision tag and be thankful for it !! We never would've heard of her without it !
Plus,she gave Uk the best result in years,with a pretty solid live vocal (of a not so great song),so she should be pretty pleased with herself.

This single deserves to be a hit,and I hope it is - so it to might encourage some other new talent, just as good ,to enter the contest next year - having seen that Jade was able to launch a career off the back of it !

Bit bizarre that R1 are ignoring her, considering that she is the product of a BBC show and that they normally like to showcase this sort of material. Added to which, this is a bloody good song, that doesn't deserve to flop! There is room for both her and Alexandra, so R1 shouldn't be "boycotting" Jade

Debuted at #76 in the UK chart this week - okay start I suppose! It was at #44 on iTunes at last check - hopefully it will rise some, and attain a decent peak! I absolutely adore this song

Also strange that she's cancelled all her promo for this week, apparently the Sugababes rumours were false, so...

Its definitely climbing very slow on iTunes. Its now at 38, when it deserves so much more! I'd rank this girl to be as good as Alexandra, so its quite sad that she won't get it.

The current line-up of the Sugababes has disbanded.

Heidi Range and Amelle Berrabah will continue as the Sugababes and will be joined by new member Jade Ewen. They release their album ‘Sweet 7’ on November 23rd through Island Records.

Keisha Buchanan will continue to record for Island Records as a solo artist.

Crazy! So Jade Ewen releases her single the same week as she joins one of the UK's biggest bands!

See, I thought that would have helped her, not hindered her.
Obviously she cancelled all her promo to join the babes, but it's been pretty big news, and I thought her name would be getting mentioned a lot.
And it has, but it's all 'Eurovision Jade'. No mention of her having a single out in her own right!


Which is also something I've been wondering. Presumably 'Punching Out' will not get a release, after 1 - the flop single, and 2 - Jade is no longer a solo artist!
So did Roc Nation buy her out of her contract or what? :crazy:

Well, it's alright she falls out of the top 40 - she's in one of the biggest ever girlbands now.

I think it's a shame that she has joined when this album is complete. It would have been better for her and the Sugababes if she was involve din the development of the album and if they took the music in a different direction to avoid comparison.

I think the current line-up is the most "pop" and "commercial" the band has ever been, but it's been going that way since Siobhan left then Mutya..... their credibility and edginess has been slowly vanishing.

I hope they can carry on..... maybe they shoudl consider the US with the new line-up.... i dunno

What, the single? The single was released and got a 35 debut in the UK. Don't know whats happening with the album - probably not being released now
