The singer is in Puerto Rico, on a break from writing her new Christmas album.


Mariah is taking inspiration in Puerto Rico where she is writing new material for her Christmas album, set for release with Mercury Records later this year.

^ As would I. However, it seems like most lambs don't agree with us. Currently, majority opinion is that she will never live up to the first one so why try, especially so early after her last effort. I disagree! There are several songs I wish she would have covered in her first classic and hope to hear them on this one--if it ever materializes. Now that it's confirmed that she's working on a new studio record, this is probably just a rumor.
