Jay-Z might have sold 30 million copies of his albums, but Miley Cyrus certainly wasn't part of that bunch. She says she's never even heard one of his songs! And, even though a line in her hit song "Party in the U.S.A." has a line that goes "the taxi man turned the radio on/and the Jay-Z song was on," she has no idea what "song" she's singing about. She didn't write her tune, she said.

The 16-year-old said about selecting the song that happened to have a line about the rapper (via Us magazine): "Honestly, I picked that song because I needed something to go with my clothing line. I didn't write it and ... I didn't expect it to be popular, originally. It was just something that I wanted to do, and I needed some songs and it turned out for the best."

And, she said, "I don't listen to pop music."

So, does that mean she doesn't listen to her own music? And is Jay-Z's music really pop? Gues we're missing something. Though, she did say her "Party" song isn't "her style of music."

Miley also clarified that she'll definitely not be singing about her dad's country hits, either. "That's like covering a Jay-Z song. That's not going to happen," she said.

Out of the goodness of my heart, and seeing as though this isn't an entire song, I have decided to place this clip here! :)

MILEY CYRUS is not a fan of her dad BILLY RAY's back catalogue - she is "scared" of country music.

The Hannah Montana star's father achieved international fame with his 1992 single Achy Breaky Heart, which was a chart hit around the world.

But his daughter isn't a fan of the country genre - she has branded it "contrived" and insists the music makes her "nervous".

She tells Parade:

"It scares me... It feels contrived on so many levels. Unless you're wearing a cowboy hat and cowboy boots and singing and whining about your girlfriend or boyfriend leaving you it's not going to sell."I think that's why my dad finally got out of it. You have to wear those cowboy boots and be sweet as pie. It makes me nervous, the politics of it all."

The father of teen star Miley Cyrus says the controversial star was just “having fun” in a recently-leaked video that shows the Hannah Montana actress dirty dancing with a 44-year-old man.

“It’s what people her age do,” ’90s country star Billy Ray Cryus told TMZ Thursday. “She was just “having fun.”

Are these people high?

In the video, which surfaced online on Wednesday, Cyrus (who was 16 at the time) is seen grinding and lap dancing with Adam Shankman, who is openly gay, during the wrap party last summer for her coming of age drama The Last Song.

Shankman, who produced the box office flop, is a judge on the FOX dance competition So You Think You Can Dance. He has yet to comment on the controversy.
