Some of you may know Juliette Lewis as a successful Hollywood actress (and a one of a kind actress at that!), but she she is also an an exceptional singer/artist! :shock: When I first heard about this album I wasn't expecting much as usually actors who want to become singers don't usually have the right talent to do so! But....when I heard Juliette's voice I was :o since I heard the whole album 'Terra Incognita' about 2 months ago now, I have been listening to it non-stop, the album has MANY classic tunes crossing many genres! All Is For God sounds NOTHING like I imagined it would do given its title :o Quite quirky is the song! When I first read the lyrics, I thought 'aw yay, a big ballad!' To give you an idea why:

"If you feel like you can’t go on
All is for none, all is for none
If you feel like you’ve been undone
All is for God, all is for God"

Alas, no big ballad! :( But as I said, the song is quirky, and in a good way! Her voice sounds SO different to when she's acting though :o Shall give the other tracks a listen too! Cheers Phoenix! :D

^^ :cheer: really happy you liked it, 'All Is For God' is amazing it is about committing all of yourself to god to help you carry on and if you feel like you can't go on, all is for nothing.... :cry: it has a deeper meaning to it than being a ballad that's why I like it Wayne! ;)

And the title track is just damn catchy it's unreal, her voice is immense! 8-)

:lol: glad you love it really is something as is the album, shame she's not going to get much success/notice just because she's a actress gone singer, people really need to open up their minds abit a good actress can also be a great singer aswell! 8-) I just love this album right now! Hope she gets some sort of notice in the future! :D Apparently she is going to be a guest on one of those music award shows soon which'll be a good intro for her! :woohoo:
