Utada US/UK Tour in 2010 - London 02.12.2010

Rumors have been circulating of a possible tour in January, and we have gotten word that Utada will in fact be touring in early 2010, though no dates or venues have yet to be set in stone. It appears that, in addition to DJ Mike Rizzo (confirmed by a member at UtadaNet), Utada will have a band backing her on this tour, opening up the possibility of more than a simple club tour. An official confirmation from Island Def Jam should not be far behind.

UPDATE: According to MuuMuse, Utada will start her tour in Hawaii in mid-January, with a total of 10 US dates, followed by at least one date in the UK, ending February 12th. The Stateside events will be handled by Live Nation.

UPDATE 2: Utada’s UK concert will take place at O2 Academy Islington on February 12th.

UPDATE 3: Tickets for Utada’s London show go on sale November 13th at 9AM. Ticket prices start from £20.

The UK date has been removed off those sites for a few days now.
I assumed it was because it hadn't been officially announced yet. Which still may be the case but with each passing day I get more and more worried :/

Same with me. I noted a couple of days ago on Last.Fm that it had been removed from Islington + LiveNation website. I'm just praying the date in London still goes ahead! There is more than enough interest!

My friend got them from o2 priority. I trust him completely, I just would have rather he paid the amount to get them delivered so he could send me mine :(

^ Don't worry! It'll be fine :) I've never ever had an issue with getting the tickets, you will get them whatever option has been chosen.

AMAZZZZINNGG SHOW!
Utada was amazing, a 2 hour set and she did a great mix of everything.
SOOO impressed.

Only thing I didn't like was the mix of Devil Inside they used. They should have just done a 'normal' version for the beginning of it as it failed to get people into it when it finally picked up.

But yeah, great show :) I wonder if she was being serious about considering moving to London.

LOL the Devil Inside edit was almost odd wasn't it.... and I LOVEEE that song.

I hope she does move to London - would be incredible!
And also, she seemed to imply doing more shows in the future. Perhaps when she's releasing a new album (whether in English/Japanese) she might come back!
